If anyone knows, I'd be insanely thankful.Download Now DIAMOND ONE TOUCH VIDEO CAPTURE VC500 DRIVERġ7-02-2015 Diamond VC500 - install problems with Windows 7 + Reply to Thread. Oh, and it's definitely not a driver problem in itself ( as to do with the Diamond VC500), although there MAY be something with the VMware that I could fix to get it to work. ![]() Just acting like nothing happened.ĭoes anyone know if it's possible to get around this? I can figure out everything else if I can just get past this. When you click on "Connect USB Device 07de:2820", the thing disappears, and reappears acting like it never connected. I know that that specific USB Device is it because when you unplug the VC500, it disappears, and when you connect it, it comes back. Right where it's supposed to at the bottom of VMware where it lists all the devices and everything. Because I SEE that it recognizes that the device exists. I've tested it with different things and it all works.īut it doesn't work with the Diamond VC500 -_. I've used it tons of times before, and the USB function works within the VMware. Luckily I already have VMware installed with a Windows XP Virtual Machine. So obviously this device won't work on Mac OSX. Now, I have a Macbook, which is what I intended to use for the broadcasting, because of it's fastness and all that jazz. ![]() The problem however with using that computer is that it is too far away and is way too slow to handle it, let alone broadcast or stream or whatever. I understand that it's Windows-Based, I've tested it on my Windows Desktop, and it works. So I recently acquired a Diamond VC500, I know it's a crappy capture card, but whatever, I don't have money for more expensive ones. Hi guys, forgive my noobness with VMware and the like. ![]()
